HCAC 2024-25 Women's Golf Notebook, Week 14

CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Women’s Golf teams competed in week fourteen of the 2024-25 season.

Athlete of the Week: 
Addy Gick (Anderson, Ind.) Anderson University | First Year - Addy Gick earned medalist honors in the Anderson Spring Invitational with a 169, leading the Ravens to their second tournament win of the season. Gick carded rounds of 82 and 87 on the par-73 layout at Grandview Golf Club. After tying for first overall with teammate Hannah Emenhiser, the tiebreaker for medalist was determined by performance on the most difficult hole. It went to the second tiebreaker of performance on the second-most difficult hole and Gick was named medalist. Gick also earned all-tournament honors.

Notable Performances:
  • Alex Goodwin (Centerville, Ind.) Franklin College | First Year - Goodwin recorded the best individual round and finish of her career at the Anderson Spring Invitational, finishing third overall with a 171 (81-90) with her round one score setting a new career low. Franklin would go on to finish second overall in the tournament.
  • Colleen Caylor (Ossian, Ind.) Manchester University | Senior - Caylor helped lead Manchester to a 3rd place finish at the Anderson Invite this past weekend where she finished as an All-Tournament team member after finishing 4th overall and Manchester's low finisher for the weekend.
