Franklin Captures 2025 HCAC Men’s Basketball Championship

ANDERSON, Ind. – In the 2025 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Men’s Basketball Championship, the Franklin College Grizzlies played an inspired second half to overcome the 2025 regular season champion Anderson Ravens and win the HCAC tournament title, punching their ticket to the 2025 NCAA Tournament, 72-66.

The Grizzlies entered the tournament as the No. 2 seed, posting a 19-7 mark during the regular season.  Franklin claims an Automatic Qualification bid to the 2025 NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship and will represent the HCAC.  The Ravens are also hopeful of potentially securing an at large bid to make the tournament.  Anderson is currently sitting squarely on the bubble as conferences around Division III continue tournament play through tomorrow.  Both teams will learn their tournament fates on Monday, Mar 3 at Noon during the selection show, which can be viewed on ncaa.com.
