CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) men’s basketball teams competed in week four of the 2025-26 season.

Athlete of the Week:
Ty Lynas (Crawfordsville, Ind.) Manchester University | Guard | Graduate - Ty Lynas posted a team-high 30 points in a Tuesday night loss to Wheaton. Along with his 30 points, Lynas also posted four rebounds, four assists, and four steals.

Notable Performances:
  • Kenney Troutman (Indianapolis, Ind.) Anderson University | Guard | Senior - Kenney Troutman notched 25 points in Wednesday's win against Trine. He drained 6-of-10 shots from three-point range.
  • Andre Irvin (Lewis Center, Ohio) Bluffton University | Guard | Graduate - Andre Irvin hit 3-of-4 from distance on the way to a team-high 14 points at Kenyon on Tuesday night. He went 5-for-6 at the line, pulled down two rebounds and dished out one assist.
  • Connor Smith (Carlisle, Ohio) Earlham College | Guard | Junior - Connor Smith led the Quakers to their first win of the season, scoring 18 points off the bench after shooting 5-for-9 from three-point range. Smith also brought down a team-high 10 rebounds in the win. For the week, the junior averaged 10.5 points and 8.5 rebounds per game with a 46.2 percent three-point percentage.
  • Malachi McNair (Evansville, Ind.) Hanover College | Forward | Sophomore - Malachi McNair led Hanover at Maryville with a double-double scoring 21 points with 11 rebounds. He also added two blocks and one steal.
