HCAC Announces 2025 Women’s Soccer All Conference Awards

CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) announced the 2025 Women's Soccer All-Conference and marquee awards winners on Thursday.

The 2025 HCAC Regular Season Champion, Mount St. Joseph University's forward, Kendal Fox (Lawrenceberg, Ind.) earned the title of Offensive Player of the Year after she helped lead her Lions to an undefeated record in the HCAC this season. Fox's dominant performance during league play lead her to the top of the HCAC for goals with 9, averaging 1.000 per game. She also leads the league in points (20) and game winning goals (5). Her successful season helped lead the Lions to the regular season title for the 2025 season.

Each year, the HCAC recognizes a Defensive Player of the Year, with Rose-Hulman's Camille Clark (Plainfield, Ind.) snagging the honor for the 2025 season. The senior dominated for the Fightin' Engineers, with over 700 minutes played during conference play in 2025, starting in all conference matches she was available for. She found herself in the top-10 in the HCAC for game winning goals (5) and her leadership on the field helped Rose-Hulman bring home the 2025 HCAC Tournament title.

Fox was not the only Lion honored in the Special Awards this season, with Mount St. Joseph's Mary Anhofer (West Chester, Ohio) being selected as the Midfielder of the Year. The junior worked all sides of the field for the Lions, while finding herself ranked in the top-10 in the HCAC for points (15), shots (25), and shots on goal (14). She leads the league in assists with a total of 9, which averages to 1.000 per game in league play.

The HCAC also recognizes an individual in their first year of athletic participation who is a standout on the field. Preslee Rugg (Greendale, Ind.) of Mount St. Joseph was named the 2025 HCAC Newcomer of the Year. Rugg found herself in the top-10 of HCAC performers in league play in goals (6), assists (3), and points (15).
