HCAC Announces 2025 Football All-Conference Awards

CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) announced the 2025 Football All-Conference and special awards winners on Wednesday.

Hanover standout quarterback Eian Roudebush (New Palestine, Ind.) earned the title of 2025 HCAC Offensive Player of the Year. Aston leads the HCAC in quarterback efficiency with a 198.3 rating and completion percentage, with 77.2%, during conference play. As a leader offensively on the Panthers squad, his offense averaged 41 points per game which helped the Panthers obtain the HCAC's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.

Joining his teammate from the other side of the field, Brian Wall (Sellersburg, Ind.) was named the 2025 HCAC Defensive Player of the Year. The sophomore led his squad in tackles and finds himself in the top 10 in the HCAC for interceptions with 2 during conference play. His leadership on a dominant Panthers defense, helped Hanover clinch the 2024 HCAC Regular Season title.

Earning this year's HCAC Special Teams Player of the Year award is Clint Hearne (Madison, Ind.) from Hanover College.  During the 2025 season, the senior kicker was 46/49 in PAT attempts and 5/7 in field goal attempts, which all helped contribute to the Panther's success. Hearne earned 3 HCAC Athlete of the Week honors this season and registered his longest kick of the season at 52 yards.

The HCAC recognizes an athlete in their first year of athletic competition who stands out above the rest as the Newcomer of the Year. The league's coaches selected Bluffton first year Jaivon Hudson (Bedford, Ohio) as the 2025 HCAC Newcomer of the Year. The running back shared the backfield as a true freshman for the Beavers and still found himself sitting at 2nd in the HCAC for total rushing yards in conference play with 477 yards.

Helping lead the Panthers offensively for the 2025 season, the Coordinator of the Year award was awarded to Hanover Offensive Coordinator, Chase Burton. Coach Burton shares the sideline with Hanover head coach Matthew Theobald, who was voted as the 2025 HCAC Coach of the Year. Coach Burton and Coach Theobald lead the Panthers to a perfect 6-0 record in HCAC play, claiming the 2025 HCAC Football Regular Season title and a berth in the 2025 NCAA Division III Football Playoffs which is the Panthers first NCAA appearance since 2019.
