CARMEL, Ind. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) women’s basketball teams competed in week two of the 2025-26 season.

Athlete of the Week:
Madison Brown (Montpelier, Ohio) Bluffton University | Guard | Senior - Madision Brown led the Beavers to a pair of blowouts as Bluffton downed Kalamazoo, 66-35, on the road before smacking Kenyon, 91-61, in the Sommer Center on Friday night. The 5-6 guard averaged 20.5 points and 10.0 rebounds per game. She hit 18-of-31 from the field (58.1 percent) while dishing out 3.5 assists per game and picking up 2.0 steals per game. In Bluffton's win on Friday, Brown led the way with a career-high 27 points on 11-for-20 shooting from the field.

- Sydney Sierota (Sellersburg, Ind.) Anderson University | Guard | Senior - Sydney Sierota filled the stat sheet with 20 points, six steals, eight rebounds, and four assists in Saturday's loss to Spalding.
- LynKaylah James (Bowling Green, Ky.) Berea College | Forward | Senior - LynKaylah James opened the 2025-26 season with dominant two-way performances this past weekend. She averaged 13 points and 17 rebounds across two games to lead the Mountaineers. James delivered a standout showing against Hardin-Simmons, posting 16 points and 22 rebounds, and followed it up with 10 points and 12 rebounds versus East Texas Baptist University.
- Amari Wright (Muncie, Ind.) Earlham College | Guard | Junior - Amari Wright led the Quakers to a 78-69 win over Wilmington College in the season opener. Wright scored 21 points with three rebounds, seven assists and three steals.
- Molly Schulte (Rockport, Ind.) Franklin College | Guard | Sophomore - Molly Schulte made the All-Tournament team at the Sara Lee Classic after scoring a team-high 19 points and adding six rebounds and three assists in a victory over Marietta. She added eight points on six shots in a narrow 76-70 defeat against host Denison.
- Alexis Wines (Lebanon, Ind.) Hanover College | Guard | Senior - Alexis Wines led the Panthers as they moved to 3-0 overall with a win at Asbury. The senior notched her third 20-plus point game, scoring 21 points with five made three-pointers. She also had one steal and three assists.
- Sam Price (Westfield, Ind.) Mount St. Joseph University | Forward | Freshman - Sam Price came off the bench in the Lions game at Muskingum and had a fantastic game. She scored 19 points in 29 minutes, hauled in seven rebounds, dished out four assists, adding a block and a steal. She was efficient from the field going 8-for-12 (67.0 percent).
- Kaia Peterson (Cincinnati, Ohio) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Guard | Freshman - Kaia Peterson recorded 12 points, one rebound, three assists and one steal against Millikin. She added eight points, three rebounds, two assists, three steals, and one block on perfect 4-for-4 shooting against Elmhurst. Kaia concluded the week with 17 points, ten rebounds, four assists, and three steals against Benedictine on 7-for-15 shooting. She concluded the week by averaging 12.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and 2.3 steals per game on 15-for-29 (51.7 percent) shooting from the floor.
- Sierra Kemelgor (Crestwood, Ky.) Transylvania University | Guard | Senior - Sierra Kemelgor led the Pioneers with 16 points, seven rebounds, and three assists in a 72-53 win over Marietta. In the 77-73 loss over Denison, Kemelgor added 10 points, six rebounds, four assists and four steals.
