HCAC 2025 Women's Soccer Notebook, Week 6

CARMEL, Ind. - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Women's Soccer teams competed in week six of the 2025 season.

Offensive Player of the Week:
Kendal Fox (Lawrenceburg, Ind.) Mount St. Joseph University | Midfield | Sophomore - Helped the Lions to a 6-0 win over Franklin on Saturday, despite playing only 40 minutes the sophomore found the back of the net twice. She buried both of her attempts in the back of the net including the game winner.

Defensive Player of the Week:
Adrienne Weyers (Granger, Ind.) Anderson University | Goalkeeper | Senior - Adrienne Weyers recorded 2 shutouts as Anderson picked up two 1-0 victories. Weyers saved 4 shots against Muskingum and saved 4 shots against Earlham.

Offensive
  • Kennedy Hurst (Fishers, Ind.) Anderson University | Forward | Junior - Kennedy Hurst twice provided Anderson's lone goal in a pair of 1-0 victories. Hurst scored the goal in Anderson's 1-0 win against Muskingum as well as the goal in Anderson's 1-0 victory against Earlham.
  • Jessica Powell (Cinncinati, Ohio) Berea College | Forward | Sophomore - Jessica Powell, a Sophomore Forward from Cincinnati, OH, was a key contributor in the Mountaineers' offense during this undefeated home weekend. Jessica had a goal against Bluffton on Saturday to secure the 2-0 victory. Jessica also tallied 6 shots this weekend.
  • Kelsie Gladieux (Northwood, Ohio) Bluffton University | Midfielder | Senior - Gladieux scored the only goal in a 1-0 Bluffton win over Great Lakes Christian on Wednesday night under the lights. She put both of her shots on frame and followed that with another shot on goal in Bluffton's loss at Berea on Saturday.
  • Cam Horsley (Moorseville, Ind.) Hanover College | Midfielder | Junior - Horsley led the Panthers as they welcomed Rose-Hulman. The junior had a game-high four shots, with one landing on frame. She was a key in the team's 10-shot effort.
  • Iliana Hernandez (Suwanee, Ga.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Forward | Sophomore - Iliana Hernandez helped lead Rose-Hulman to a 2-0 victory on the road against Hanover. She scored a goal for Rose-Hulman, five minutes after being subbed in off the bench, and finished the game with two shots.
  • Isabella White (Lexington, Ky.) Transylvania University | Forward | Senior - In Saturdays victory over HCAC opponent, Manchester, Isabella White found the back of the net twice in the 3-0 victory. White led the Pioneers offense, with five shots on goal resulting in two goals.

  • Elana Horne (Rossford, Ohio) Berea College | Goalkeeper | Sophomore - Elana Horne, a Sophomore Keeper from Rogersville, TN, led the Mountaineers' back line to a program record tying 6th shutout this week. Elana had 6 saves and 0 goals against in a conference win over Bluffton University.
  • Madison Kutscher (Rossford, Ohio) Bluffton University | Goalkeeper | First Year - Kutscher finished with 12 saves as Bluffton split a pair of contests over the week. She allowed just 2 goals (1.00 goals against average) as Bluffton defeated GLC 1-0 before falling 2-0 at Berea. Kutscher has been a part of 4 Bluffton shutouts this season.
  • Reagan Claus (Crown Point, Ind.) Manchester University | Goalkeeper | First Year - Reagan Claus spent all 90 minutes in goal for Manchester on Saturday. Transylvania got the best of the Spartans, but Claus had 10 saves on the afternoon while allowing 3 goals.
  • Brooke Spurlock (Lawrence, Kan.) Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology | Goalkeeper | Senior - Brooke Spurlock helped lead Rose-Hulman to a 2-0 win on the road against Hanover. Spurlock accumulated four saves in the win, while securing her fifth shutout of the season.
