2025 HCAC Women's Soccer Championship Preview

Quarterfinals of this Year's Tournament Begin Saturday, November 1

CARMEL, Ind. – The 2025 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Women's Soccer Championship Quarterfinal field is set for Saturday, November 1.

Mount St. Joseph University won the regular season title, fighting through the league schedule without a loss, finishing with an 8-0-1 mark and securing the No. 1 seed. Rose-Hulman picked up the other first-round bye, snagging the No. 2 seed behind a 7-1-1 league record. 

Transylvania University locked up the No. 3 seed and first-round hosting rights following a 5-1-3 mark in HCAC play. The Pioneers will play host to the No. 6 seed Earlham Quakers (4-4-1). Hanover College enters the post-season as the No. 4 seed, also earning the right to host in the opening round with a league record of 5-2-2, and will host  the No. 5 seed Anderson (5-2-2).  

The field for the HCAC Semifinals on Tuesday, Nov. 4 will see the No. 1 seeded Mount St. Joseph facing the winner of the No. 4/5 matchup. The No. 2 seeded Fightin' Engineers from Rose-Hulman will go toe-to-toe with the winner of the No. 3/6 matchup.

The winners of the semifinals will advance to the 2025 HCAC Women's Soccer Championship, hosted by the highest remaining seed on Saturday, Nov. 8. The HCAC's Tournament Champion will advance to the 2025 NCAA Division III National Championship Tournament, earning the conference's automatic qualifying bid.
