CARMEL, Ind. - The 2024 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Basketball Championship is set to be held Sunday, Feb. 19 through Saturday Feb. 25.

Anderson University earned the No. 1 seed, following a 16-2 mark in conference play, where they the 2023-24 regular season title, receiving a bye in the first round of the tournament. Earning the No. 2 seed and the other first-round bye was Transylvania University, who held a 14-4 record. The men’s championship tournament began on Sunday, February 18 with two first-round games. No. 3 Hanover College earned hosting rights, and faced off against the No. 6 seed, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. No. 3 seed Hanover went on to win the contest with a score of 62-58. On the other side of the bracket, No. 4 seed Manchester University also earned the right to host, welcoming the No. 5 seed, Franklin College. No. 4 seed Manchester narrowly escaped the Grizzlies with a score of 76-73.
The semifinal and final rounds of the men’s championship will be contests on the campus of Anderson University, in Anderson, Ind. The semifinal will kick off at 5 p.m., with No. 1 seed Anderson University Ravens meeting conference rivals, the No. 4 seed Manchester University Spartans. No. 2 seed Transylvania University Pioneers will then face the No. 3 seed Hanover College Panthers, with that game slated for 7 p.m. The championship game will consist of the two remaining teams and will tip at 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 24.
Admission to all HCAC Championships is $10. Children aged 11 and under and students/faculty and staff with an HCAC institution ID will be admitted for free.
