The Lions came into the championship battle as the No. 1 seed, facing off against the No. 2 seeded Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. It took one goal in overtime to lift Mount St. Joseph past the Fightin' Engineers, when Ella Pittman headed in a set up in the 94th minute of action. Because of the return of the ‘Golden Goal’ to college soccer overtime this year, the game ended in a Mount victory.

For her performance throughout the HCAC post season, McKinzie Dotson (Russelville, Ohio) was named the MVP of the 2024 HCAC Women’s Soccer Championship. The HCAC also recognizes an all-tournament team, with players selected to the team listed below.

Mount St. Joseph earns the conference's automatic qualification bid to the 2024 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship. The Division III field for the championship will be announced Monday, Nov. 11 at 2 p.m.
