CARMEL, Ind. – In a vote of league coaches, Transylvania University was selected as the favorite in the 2024-25 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) women’s basketball race.
The Pioneers claimed three first-place votes en route to 72 points after winning the regular season title and conference tournament championship a year ago. The Mount St. Joseph Lions finished in second with 71 points, and four first-place votes. The Hanover College Panthers finished in third with 69 points, and two first-place votes. Claiming fourth place and the remaining first-place vote, was the Berea College Mountaineers. The Franklin College Grizzlies rounded out the top half of the poll with 49 points.
