CARMEL, Ind. - The 2023 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Basketball Championship is set to be held Sunday, Feb. 19 through Saturday Feb. 25.

Manchester University earned the No. 1 seed, following a 14-4 mark in conference play, where they claimed a share of the 2022-23 regular season title, receiving a bye in the first round of the tournament. Also earning a share of the 2022-23 title was Anderson University, who’s 14-4 record earned them a No. 2 seed and the other first-round bye. The men’s championship tournament will get underway on Sunday, February 19 with two first-round games. No. 3 Hanover College earned hosting rights, and will face off against conference rivals, the No. 6 seed, Franklin College. On the other side of the bracket, No. 4 seed Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology also earned the right to host, welcoming the No. 5 seed, Transylvania University. Both of the quarterfinal contests will tip at 4 p.m. on Sunday.
The semifinal and final rounds of the men’s championship will be contests on the campus of Manchester University, in North Manchester, Ind. The semifinal will kick off at 5 p.m., with Anderson University meeting the winners of the No. 3 Hanover/No. 6 Franklin matchup. Manchester University will await the winners of the No. 4 Rose-Hulman/No. 5 Transylvania contest, with that game slated for 7 p.m. The championship game will consist of the two remaining teams and will tip at 6 p.m. on Saturday, February 25.
Admission to all HCAC Championships is $10. Children aged 11 and under and students/faculty and staff with an HCAC institution ID will be admitted for free.
