HANOVER, Ind. – In the 2022 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Men’s Basketball Championship, Franklin College survived to win the tournament title, and punch their ticket to the 2022 NCAA Tournament.
The Grizzlies entered the tournament as the No. 6 seed and upset all their foes to grab the HCAC crown, with a 14-14 mark on the season. Franklin defeated the No. 1 seed Hanover College on their home floor, who likely conclude their season with a 21-5 mark. Franklin claims the HCAC Automatic Qualification bid to the 2022 NCAA Division III Men’s Basketball Championship, and will learn their fate on Monday, Feb. 28 at 12:30 pm during the selection show.
