The Lions posted a decisive 40-31 win over Rose-Hulman, snagging an interception to seal the deal and make a clean sweep of conference play, securing the regular season title with a perfect 7-0 mark in league action.
 
Mount St. Joseph earns the conference’s automatic qualification bid to the 2022 NCAA Division III Football Championship. The field for the championship will be announced Sunday, Nov. 13 at 5 p.m., with the opening rounds scheduled for Nov. 19, 2022 at a location to be announced by the NCAA.
