Rose-Hulman Captures 2021 HCAC Spring Men’s XC Title

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Spring 2021 Men's Cross Country Championship was run on Sunday, with Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology claiming the title at the E.P. Tom Sawyer State Park.

The Fightin' Engineers won the event with a score 34 points, while Manchester University came in second, scoring 55 points. Earlham College finished in third with 77 points, Franklin College finished in fourth with 103 points while Transylvania University (105) and Bluffton University (131) took fifth sixth respectively.
 
Manchester's Enrique Salazar won the individual title, racing in a time of 25:36.67. Fellow Spartan Connor Havens was named the newcomer of the meet, as he was the fastest first-year, running a race of 25:46.18.  In a vote of league coaches, Rose-Hulman head coach Geoff Wayton was named the Men's Coach of the Year.
