CARMEL, Ind. – In a vote of league coaches, Transylvania University was selected as the favorite in the 2021-22 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) women’s basketball race.
The Pioneers earned an impressive 95 points including six first-place votes, placing them in the No. 1 slot. Hanover College was picked to finish second with 86 points, sagging two first-place nods. Mount St. Joseph University (70) and Franklin College (66) finished in third and fourth place respectively, with each team picking up a first-place vote. Bluffton University rounded out the top-half of the poll, earning 65 points.
