Women's Cross Country Report (Week 2) - Myers Paces Grizzlies at Indiana Wesleyan

GREENWOOD, IN - Franklin College and Anderson University were the only two HCAC programs competing last week, running at Indiana Wesleyan.  The Grizzlies finished fourth overall, while the Ravens finished fifth in the 10 team meet.

Franklin’s Ashley Myers (Edinburgh, Ind./H.S.) led the Grizzlies to a fourth place finish at the Indiana Wesleyan Invitational Friday. The senior ran the ninth fastest 5K time in school history, completing the course in a time of 19:19 to finish 21st overall.

Anderson was paced by senior Margo Sinclair (Olathe, Kan./Northwest) at IWU.  Sinclair finished 30th overall with a time of 19:48.3.

This weekend is highlighted by the Indiana Intercollegiate meet Friday afternoon in Terre Haute, Indiana.  Mount St. Joseph will compete on Friday at the National Catholic Championships in South Bend, Indiana.  On Saturday, Bluffton and Defiance will run at Otterbein, while Transylvania will compete at Berea.
