GREENWOOD, Ind. – Transylvania University's Jordin Fender (Lexington, Ky. / Dunbar) has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women's Athlete of the Year following her performances in indoor track and field and outdoor track and field.

The senior earned NCAA Division III indoor and outdoor track and field All-American accolades after finishing second in the 60-meter hurdles (indoor) and 100-meter hurdles (outdoor) during her senior campaign. Fender claimed three HCAC titles at the indoor meet in February, and four conference titles at the outdoor championships in April.

Fender finished second at the NCAA Division III indoor championships in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.66 seconds and earned a runner-up finish at the NCAA Division III outdoor championships with a personal best time of 14.05 seconds.
