Rose-Hulman's Liz Evans Earns Third USTFCCCA National Athlete of the Week Award

TERRE HAUTE, IN -- For the third time this season, Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology senior Liz Evans (Bicknell, Ind./North Knox) snapped the NCAA Division III all-time national record in the outdoor high jump on Friday night.

Evans became the first athlete in NCAA Division III women's high jump history to clear 6' 0" with her successful leap at the University of Louisville Cardinal Invitational.

The mark of 6' 0" is also a provisional qualification for the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships to be held at Drake University on June 19-23.

For her efforts, Evans was honored as the NCAA Division III National Athlete of the Week for the third time this season.
