INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - Two Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference women's tennis programs remain undefeated at the top of the conference standings.
Franklin College hosted Anderson on Saturday and gained a 7-2 victory, while Hanover defeated Transylvania 8-1 and Ind.-Southeast 5-4 last week.
The Rose-Hulman women's tennis team claimed a 9-0 victory over Manchester to improve the Fightin' Engineers conference and overall record to 4-1 for the 2018 campaign.
Despite going 1-1 last week, the Yellow Jackets A.J. Breneman posted a perfect week going 2-0 at No. 2 doubles and No. 2 singles. Against Earlham, the sophomore posted an 8-4 victory in doubles, while recording a 6-3, 6-4 triumph in singles. Breneman also tallied an 8-2 doubles win before scoring a 6-3, 6-0 in singles against Miami-Middletown.
Earlham picked up HCAC wins last week against Defiance and Mount St. Joseph. The Quakers defeated the Yellow Jackets in a 5-4 battle before claiming a 7-2 victory over the Lions on Saturday.
