Women's Tennis Report (Week 4) - Rose-Hulman Moves to 3-1 in HCAC Play

GREENWOOD, IN - Rose-Hulman moved to 3-1 in conference play after a pair of wins last week.  The Engineers (4-1, 3-1 HCAC) beat Franklin 5-4 in a four hour match and slipped by Manchester 7-2 to conclude the week.

Rose-Hulman's Suzana Mohd (Puchong, Malaysia/Mara University) finished the week 4-0 during the two league wins. 

The junior finished with a perfect 2-0 record at the No. 1 doubles and No. 2 singles positions to help RHIT defeat Franklin and Manchester. 

Rose-Hulman will face Earlham and Hanover in league play this week.

In other action...

Transylvania moved to 3-0 in league play with a 9-0 win over Earlham.  The Pioneers (4-0, 3-0 HCAC) are scheduled to face Mount St. Joseph and Defiance in league play this week.

Hanover College claimed a 9-0 win over Defiance in its only league play last week, moving to 4-0 in HCAC action.  The first place Panthers (7-3, 4-0 HCAC) have two tough matches this week against Rose-Hulman and Franklin.

Franklin had a busy week, playing three league matches.  The Grizzlies (5-3, 4-1 HCAC) bounced back from the tough 5-4 loss to Rose-Hulman by earning wins over Anderson and Manchester on the road.
