Women's Soccer Weekly Report - Week 3


INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- The Hanover College women's soccer team continue a five game win streak three weeks into the 2018 fall campaign. 

Hanover, 5-1 overall, sits atop the conference standings for the second week in a row. Last week the Panthers claimed road victories at St. Mary's (Ind.) and Wittenberg. Hanover was led by freshman forward Kelsey Hughes, who tallied two goals and one assist for five points last week.

The Transylvania women's soccer team lost a right road match to Capital before claiming a shutout 2-0 victory at Covenant last week. The Pioneers were led in goal by freshman Morgan Patton, recording 12 saves and one relief work shutout in the matchups.

The Earlham Quakers climber the women's soccer standings last week after posting a 2-1 record with wins over Brescia and St. Mary-of-the-Woods. The Quakers offense was led by sophomore Yana Miller. The forward added four goals and one assist for nine total points during non-conference action last week
