Franklin Ready to Host Hanover in HCAC Women's Soccer Title Match

GREENWOOD, Ind. - The HCAC women's soccer title match has been set after Tuesday's semifinal play.  No. 1 Franklin and No. 2 Hanover advance to Saturday's title match at Franklin after posting victories earlier this week.

One semifinal saw No. 2 seed Hanover tangle with No. 3 seed Mount St. Joseph.  The Panthers received goals from Abby Howes with an assist from Shelby Adams and Elaine Simpson with the assist from Daria Volker to earn the 2-1 win and advance to the title game for the fourth straight season.

Top seed Franklin earned a 2-0 win at home over No. 4 seed Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology Tuesday night.  The Grizzlies received a goal fromTaylor McDaniel and Jillian Lawrence to advance to their third consecutive HCAC women's soccer final.

Hanover will travel to Franklin for the HCAC championship match at 1 a.m. Saturday.  The winner will receive the HCAC's automatic bid to the 2016 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Tournament.
