HCAC Places Seven on All-Great Lakes Region Women's Soccer Team

KANSAS CITY, KS - The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference placed seven women's soccer players on the National Soccer Coaches Association of America's All-Great Lakes Region team in a vote of NCAA Division III coaches.

Hanover College's Abby Shroyer (Zionsville, Ind.) and Anna Cornacchione (Cincinnati, Ohio), Franklin College' Maddie Fleet (Indianapolis, Ind.) and Rose-Hulman's Lucinda Combs (Danville, Ky.) represented the conference on the first team. Fleet was named the HCAC Offensive MVP for her efforts this fall, while Shroyer earned HCAC Defensive MVP honors. Combs and Cornacchione were named first-team All-HCAC for their efforts this fall.

Franklin's Clare Lenart (Seymour, Ind.), Hanover's Rachel Alvis (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Rose-Hulman's Mallory McDevitt (Wapakoneta, Ohio) earned a spot on the second team. 

A total of 39 players were selected for the All-Great Lakes Region team.
