GREENWOOD, IN - Transylvania University was a perfect 2-0 last week, including a dominating win in its league opener over the weekend. The Pioneers (7-2-1, 1-0 HCAC) slipped by Wittenberg 3-2 and earned a 4-0 shutout win at Anderson Saturday.
Senior forward Amy Ghibaudy (Lexington, Ky./Catholic) scored a goal in Transy's win over Wittenberg and added another goal in the win over Anderson Saturday.
Transy remains No. 6 in the latest NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA DIII Great Lakes Region rankings.
The Pioneers will face Hanover in a crucial conference match-up Wednesday evening.

Hanover earned a 2-1 win over Manchester to open the league slate. The Panthers (8-1-1, 1-0 HCAC) remain No. 3 in the latest NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA DIII Great Lakes Region rankings and will face Transylvania and Anderson this week.
Franklin, Rose-Hulman, and Mount St. Joseph were also winners on the first weekend of league play. The Grizzlies slipped by Earlham 2-1 in two overtimes, while Rose-Hulman and Mount St. Joseph pulled out one goal wins against Bluffton and Defiance respectively.
