Hanover senior midfielder Hannah Mundt (Prospect, Ky. / North Oldham) has been named the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on defense.
Mundt recorded a team-high seven groundballs and five caused turnovers as Hanover defeated Anderson 20-2 in its lone action of the week. The senior had set her previous career-high mark with four caused turnovers last week, but followed it up with a new standard in the win over AU, her seven groundballs are also a career-high. Hanover allowed five or fewer goals for the fourth time in the last five outings.
The Hanover Panthers (6-8, 3-2 HCLC) will travel to Earlham on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in the semifinal round of the HCLC Tournament.
