GREENWOOD, IN - Junior Brooke McKay (Carmel, Ind./H.S.) tied for medalist honors and Hanover College’s women’s golf squad captured the team championship at the Rose-Hulman Invitational. The 36-hole event was played at the Rea Park Golf Course in Terre Haute, Ind.
Hanover totaled 671 strokes to post a four-shot win against Rose-Hulman, which finished second with 675.
McKay placed first for the third time in the past four tournaments, firing rounds of 79 and 84 on the par-72, 5,803-yard course.
Anderson University' Krista Zurcher (Leesburg, Ind./Wawasee) also earned medalist honors at the event. The junior carded rounds of 84 and 79 at the two-round event as the Ravens placed seventh in the team standings.
Franklin and Manchester also competed at Rose-Hulman, placing fourth and sixth in the standings.
This weekend, Anderson, Hanover, Rose-Hulman and Transylvania will compete at the DePauw Invitational, while Manchester will compete at Indiana Wesleyan.
