Earlham sophomore guard Kayla Bowling (Osgood, Ind. / Jac-Cen-Del) has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.
In a 1-1 week for the Quakers, Bowling averaged 21.0 points per game. In a loss against No. 22 Transylvania, the sophomore scored a career-high 27 points, four rebounds and a steal. Bowling closed out the week with 15 points in a win against Franklin, while also tallying three rebounds, three steals and a block.
The Earlham Quakers (8-12, 6-7 HCAC) will travel to Manchester on Monday at 7:30 p.m. before hosting Hanover on Wednesday at 7:30 p.m.
