GREENWOOD, Ind. - The Indiana Intercollegiate meet was held on Friday at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana. Rose-Hulman led the HCAC field with a first place finish in the standings.
Senior Alton Anspaugh (Shelbyville, Ind. / Shelbyville) led the Rose-Hulman performance with a third-place finish (26:44) in the Little State Division and 13th overall including NCAA Division I programs.
Manchester University's Blake Harris (Fort Wayne, Ind. / Homestead) led the way for the Spartans at the Indiana Little State portion of Indiana Intercollegiate Championships last Friday. The senior placed second overall with a time of 26:39.7. The Spartans finished in 7th place out of 14 teams.
Earlham, Hanover, Franklin, and Anderson also competed in West Lafayette. The Quakers placed fifth in the team standings, while Hanover finished eighth overall. Franklin earned a ninth place finish and Anderson finished 12th as a team.
Defiance and Transylvania traveled to Otterbein University to compete at the Otterbein Invitational Saturday. The Yellow Jackets placed 9th and the Pioneers did not post a team score.
Bluffton participated in the Heidelberg/Tiffin Open and placed fifth, while Mount St. Joseph traveled to Notre Dame University and finished 16th.
