Men's Cross Country Report (Week 5) - Engineers Earn Title at Earlham Invite

GREENWOOD, IN- Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology earned first-place honors at the Earlham College Cross Country Invitational on Saturday. The Engineers finished with 35 points and were followed by Wabash (42), Anderson (54), and Earlham (115).

Sophomore Stuart West (LaPorte, Ind./H.S.) led the Engineers with a third place time of 27:42.

Anderson's Erin Linn (Macy, Ind./North Miami) earned the individual title, leading the pack with a first place time of 27:14.

Franklin and Hanover competed at the Greater Louisville Classic Saturday.  The Grizzlies placed ninth and the Panthers finished 24th among 38 schools.

Franklin’s Kris Sandlin (Scottsburg, Ind./H.S.) finished first at the meet, finishing first among 306 runners with an 8K time of 25:57.28.  It was Sandlin’s second individual title of the season.

Bluffton, Defiance, and Mount St. Joseph ran at the All-Ohio Championships over the weekend.  The Yellow Jackets placed 33rd and were followed by the Beavers (39th) and Lions (44th) in the 44 team field.

This weekend, Rose-Hulman will host the NCAA Division III Pre-Nationals on Saturday.
