Anderson University’s Max Kittle (Algonquin, Ill./Dundee-Crown) won three events at the Defiance Invitational Saturday and has been named the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference Men’s Indoor Track Athlete of the Week.
The sophomore won the 60-meter hurdles in 8.30 seconds, marking the sixth best time in NCAA Division III and the top time in the HCAC this indoor season. Kittle also won the 200-meter dash with a HCAC-best time of 22.80 and was a member of the first place 1,600-meter relay team.
The Ravens finished third in the team standings at the six team event.
