Green led the Pioneers to a seventh place finish at the meet, while Cooley led the Ravens to a second place finish on February 20.

Green, a junior for the Pioneers, won two individual events at the 2016 HCAC Indoor Championships.  The junior claimed the individual titles in the 60-meter dash (6.92) and 200-meter dash (22.37).

Cooley, a junior for the Ravens, won two field events at the championship.  He had a winning mark of 1.91 meters in the high jump and claimed the title in the long jump with a leap of 6.70 meters.

Also receiving recognition for his efforts at the meet is Rose-Hulman freshman David Borden (Mason, Ohio/H.S.), receiving the 2016 HCAC Indoor Track & Field Freshman Athlete of the Year.  Borden was a member of the winning 800-meter and 1,600-meter relay teams for the Engineers.  The winning time in the 800-meter relay set a new HCAC record with a winning time of 1:30.60.  The freshman also finished third in the 400-meters at the meet.
