Men's Soccer Weekly Report - Week 2


INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- Non-conference play went under the weather in the second week of action for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer teams. 

Anderson University continues to lead the conference standings after the second week of play this fall season. Senior forward Jacob Pokorski led the Ravens offensive attack tallying three goals and two assists last week. Pokorski currently ranks second in the nation in total assists (5) and seventh in the nation in assists per game (1.00). The senior is also third in the country in total points with 13.

Manchester University (2-2) and Earlham College (1-1) sit in a tie for second amongst the HCAC leaderboard. 

The Spartans claimed two victories last week including an 11-0 shutout over Blackburn. Manchester forward Josh Gonzalez led the offense with four goals and three assists for 11 points total in the matchups.

Earlham College lost a 2-0 matchup against Wabash last week before canceling Saturday's match versus Otterbein due to weather.
