Men's Soccer Weekly Report - Week 1

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- The 2018 regular season non-conference schedule has kicked off for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference men's soccer teams.

Anderson University leads the conference standings after the first week of action this fall season. In the first two wins for the Ravens, forward Wes Erny scored two goals with two assists for a total of six points.

Four HCAC schools sit in a tie for second with an overall record of 1-1 in the league standings, and the 2018 season has already proven to be competitive with eight games ending in extra minutes.

Preseason HCAC favorite, Transylvania University, still looks to claim its first victory of the season. The Pioneers have earned two draws against Ohio Northern and Thomas More to capture a 0-1-2 record to start the fall campaign.
