Transylvania freshman midfielder Bryce Lowe (Louisville, Ky. / Trinity) has been named the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference Player of the Week on offense.
Lowe registered hat-tricks in two games, including a career-high six goals in the Pioneers’ 2-0 week against HCLC opponents. The freshman went off for a career-high six goals in a 24-1 win at Earlham on Wednesday. Lowe added an assist in the game along with three ground balls to finish with seven points.
Lowe delivered another three-goal game in Saturday’s 23-3 win at Anderson. The freshman added another assist and five ground balls in the game as the Pioneers jetted out to a 12-0 lead. This week, Lowe totaled nine goals, two assists, 11 points, and eight ground balls as the Pioneers moved to 3-0 against HCLC opponents.
The Transylvania Pioneers (6-3, 3-0 HCLC) will host Mount St. Joseph on Wednesday at 7 p.m. and will travel to Sewanee at 5 p.m.
