Earlham WR Malcolm Williams Grabs HCAC Play of the Week Honor

GREENWOOD, IN - Earlham College wide receiver Malcolm Williams (Cleveland, Ohio/John Hay) was voted as the HCAC Play of the Week for week 2.  The sophomore earned the title after voting took place on the HCAC social media outlets of Facebook and Twitter.

Williams' winning play was a 48-yard touchdown reception from sophomore quarterback Matt Couch (Versailles, Ky./Woodford Co.) midway through the second quarter. The connection gave the Quakers an 18-8 lead over Kenyon as EC held on for a 25-15 win.

The final voting tally saw Williams garnering 75% of the vote, beating out Franklin senior kick returner Zack Corpe (Elkhart, Ind./Memorial) for the honor (24%).

The poll was distributed on the HCAC Twitter (@HCACDIII) and Facebook pages Monday, with voting ending at 10AM today.
