TERRE HAUTE, Ind. -- Sixteen members of the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology baseball team donated their times on two days during Spring Break to make an impact for the Samaritan Food Pantry in Terre Haute.
The Samaritan Food Pantry in Terre Haute provides food and other necessities for the less fortunate in the Terre Haute community.
Over the course of two days, team members prepared bags to be distributed, organized and arranged food items to be distributed, set up materials to be used in the food distribution, cleaned up storage areas, and helped get the facility ready for the upcoming summer season. Over 20 total hours were donated during the project.
Members of the team participating included seniors Sean Casey, Conner Helbling, David Burnside, Dan Connolly, Stone Brogan, Casey Garner, and Conner Shipley; juniors Tyler Wineger and Zach Witonsky; sophomores Luke Calabrese, Quintin Bynum, Logan Cody, Harris Camp, Luke Kluemper, and Logan Kabrich; and freshman Shane Garner.
